What is Dijak Art?
Dijak Art is a site-specific, long-duration land art project on a rewilded three-acre riparian forest at Sungai Sepia, between Taman Negara Pahang and the Al-Sultan Abdullah Tiger Reserve. It brings together art, conservation, local wisdom, wildlife data and community memory to turn a piece of land into a living ecological and cultural archive.

Dijak Art and OECM
Dijak Art applies the principles of Other Effective Area-Based Conservation Measures (OECM) by positioning Dijak Land as a living art-conservation and sustainable agroforestry site outside a formal protected park. Here, a rewilded former fruit orchard is nurtured with heritage durians, forest herbs, agarwood and other rare or threatened native trees, while protecting wildlife habitat, local wisdom and community stewardship as ecological value and cultural heritage.
Collaborator / Co-creator
A Dijak Art collaborator or co-creator may be an artist, researcher, local ranger or community partner who helps shape the project through fieldwork, ecological care, documentation, traditional knowledge, storytelling and art-making within the living landscape of Dijak Land.

Photo Gallery
The Dijak Art gallery presents selected images from the living landscape of Dijak Land, including fieldwork, art processes, rewilded forest, community participation, river ecology, agroforestry and exhibitions connected to the project.

Selected Trail Camera Data
Selected trail camera data from Dijak Land documents the presence of wildlife such as Asian elephants, sun bears, langurs and muntjacs, turning ecological monitoring into visual evidence for artistic archive of the forest.
